The mind-body problem is one of the most important problems that philosophers AND scientists have ever emphasized.Although the previous scientists were certain that there were two different kinds of states AND events in human interacting each other, nowadays sciences like neurophysiology have reached important results about this issue.Some philosophers believe in physicalism in respect to physical AND mental states AND events. Some others, disproving physicalism, have proved that human have a nonphysical substance in addition to corporeal body.But most of them (dualist philosophers) haven't succeeded to justify how these two substances are related to each other. It seems that Mulla Sadra has succeeded to solve the mind – body problem by accepting that "the soul originates from the body".

Abstract: 

This Study aimed at describing AND identifying some variables related to SUCCESSFUL AND un SUCCESSFUL suicide attempts in Ilam, 1997.266 committers were studied through questionnaires. The findings implied that 195 people out of all had had unSUCCESSFUL attempts, while 71 ones managed in killing themselves. of all the case population, %64 were female AND %36 were male with an average age of 25. Among the suicide committers, %53 were single AND %67 were citizens with an educational status of baccelorate AND above. Those graduated from high-school stood at a statistical place of %28 of all. Concerning the causes of the attempts, the most responsibility went for family problems in the first place AND psychological & mental problems in the second. There was significant relation between the educational level AND suicidal attempts at deviation level of %5, (P=0.04). Of all the 71 cases culminated in death, 53 ones (%75) died due to burning. the most prevalent way of committing suicide went for SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL use of drugs (%44).

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research was to study the application of learning strategies by SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL students in Islamic Azad University Lamard Branch. To this end, learning strategies related to motivation, attitude, time management, emotional peace, concentration, information processing, scanning, study skills, AND self-assessment were investigated. To collect data, LASSI questionnaire was administered to SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL BA students studying in Business management, English language teaching, chemistry engineering, Primary school teacher training, politics, industrial management, AND English language literature. They, then, were analyzed using descriptive statistics methods (table, frequency, graph) AND inferential statistics (t-test, one-way AND two-way ANOVA Regression analysis, correlation of coefficient). The findings of the study indicated that there is a significant relationship between SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL students. In other words, applying learning strategies by SUCCESSFUL students is relatively more.

Abstract: 

The aim of the present study is to identity effective factors in SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL Marriages of University students 136 married students were non-rANDomly selected as examinees, AND they filled out the Spanners Marital Adjustment Questionnaire. Descriptive-analytic method used in the study. T test AND ANOVA were analyzed Results revealed that the influential factors in SUCCESSFUL marriages were as follows: mutual trust, proper verbal AND non - verbal communication based on well association AND agreement on basic matters of life such as making business decisions, setting life goals, education, child bearing policies, spending the time together, leisure time activities, pregnancy, AND sexual relation. There are also certain private, family, AND social factors influencing married university students' adjustment as; spouse's job, how to meet AND get acquainted with each other, problems solving method, AND the place or person they refer to in case of a dispute. Results also showed that age, field of study, educational status, AND educational level does not play an important role in their patrimonial adjustment.

Abstract: 

The main purpose of the present research was to compare the effects of different learning strategies on SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL student. Six hundred AND five students, have been rANDomly selected from all girl schools in grade 11 in Tehran based on their academic achievements. Results revealed that there were significant differences between the SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL groups on the level of applying elaborated AND comprehension monitoring strategies. Moreover, with respect to the students" field of study, significant differences were found between Math- Physics students AND Humanities students on both elaborated AND comprehension monitoring strategies. In addition, between the SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL students of Empirical- Sciences field, significant differences were found on the organized AND comprehension strategies. The conclusion of the study showed that the elaborated strategy for the Math- Physics AND the humanities groups AND the comprehension monitoring strategy for the Empirical- Sciences group were the most effective on their academic achievement.

Abstract: 

It is obvious, most of population of our country consists of teenagers & youth AND success of this large group in near future, strongly depends on their official& institutional education. Meanwhile all know that the issue of children’s success is the main AND inseparable concern of families AND education authorities of each country. Most experts in the area of education regard relation of family members as an important factor for student’ education achievements.Also many people AND groups have taken the issue into consideration.However, this old ulcer has lead families to the edge of destruction AND disappointed parent AND teachers from continuing their valuable path.Objective of this study is achieving core variable drawn up from the data gathered in the area of “family relations which affect success AND failure of the students’ education.” For this purpose 32 participants (16 mother & 16 students) were selected from first grade students of Shahriar Town’s High Schools, through directed & theoric sampling up to data saturation by means of semi-structured deep interviews, with the grounded theory method. Then the data were analyzed by the method suggested by Strauss & Corbin consisting of coding (open, pivotal & optional), AND total 98 primary code AND 56 final primary codes were achieved from the interviewed people. At the next stages of the analysis, a main variable named “communication” was achieved.The term “communication” was selected for naming this core variable because it could convey considerable diversities derived from the data.Findings show that “family relations affecting success & failure of the students’ education” are composed of multilayer & complicated factors. Finally the results indicated that relations of family members, responsible behavior of the parents toward their children, relations & interaction of the spouses with each other all & all affect students’ educational success & failure. The results are specific for this group AND its generalization should be considered by caution.

Abstract: 

The aim of the study was to consider angular displacement AND center of pressure changes with the result of SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL jump shot from two (4.25 AND 6.25 meters) distances among male elite basketball players. Six right-hAND shooters with average age of 23.3±3.04 years, height of 189.67±2.2cm, weight of (84±5.58 kg) AND having playing history 10±2.5 years participated in this study. Eight markers placed on the right side of the subject’s body. The subjects asked perform shooting on the force plate. Two Kodak high speed video based system cameras used for data collection in 4.25 AND 6.25 meters distances at 60 Hz. Win software PT used to analysis one SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL shot. Wilcoxon AND Logistic models are used for statistical analysis at p³0.05. Significant differences are shown between angle of the wrist, thigh AND ankle in 4.25 meter distance, AND for thigh AND ankle on SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL in 6.25 meters distances AND significant difference was found in bending AND jumping in two point jump shots. These result indicated that center of pressure changes AND angular displacement of the wrist, thigh AND ankle are the most effective factors for the SUCCESSFUL of jump shot.

Abstract: 

Purpose: This research aims to investigate AND compare the factors affecting the SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL entry into adolescent stage of family life cycle. Methods: This is a qualitative study AND the data were analyzed using grounded theory methodology. The population consists of all the parents with SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL adolescents in city of Tehran, AND the sample consisted of 10 parents having SUCCESSFUL adolescents AND 12 parents having unSUCCESSFUL adolescents. Data were collected through purposeful sampling AND semi-structured interviews were conducted. Results: The findings showed that protective factors which lead adolescents to SUCCESSFUL or unSUCCESSFUL transition include the following: family domain, parental domain, AND social domain. The protective factors in parental domain have basic differences. They were different in family communication styles, family management styles, family structure, AND economic status of the family. Findings related to the parental domain showed that parental attitudes toward education, parental attitudes toward success, parental behavior toward social success, AND vulnerability in parenting were different in parents with SUCCESSFUL AND unSUCCESSFUL adolescents. Additionally, protective factors in social domain were different between the two groups. The results showed that SUCCESSFUL parents were different in social relationship management AND adolescent behavior toward social success with unSUCCESSFUL parents. Conclusions: In sum, results showed that social environment, educating parents AND their adolescents, as well as strengthening protective resources in the family are all effective.
